such a charming place, I almost wrote a glowing review, but waiting over 90 minutes for food and an icy room ruined it for me. I expected an upgrade for my inconvenience, but was treated like anyone else! I had to share my shower with black mould, who thought that was acceptable? absoluteley baffling.

Nice refurbishment of rooms.
Some rooms have peculiar design flaws, like attic beds under eaves that make sitting up a challenge and hot conditions. Tall guests will struggle to reach towel rails unless they stand on the toilet, which is quite odd.

The staff initially seemed welcoming, especially during my first interactions. I found the location convenient, as it offered easy access for a quick stop after a long drive. The restaurant dinner I ordered was delicious, with a nice selection available. the ambience of the dining area was quite pleasant and relaxing.
I encountered a significant issue with my room being next to a very noisy fan, which impacted my comfort.
